Automatic Ticket Vending Kiosk Machines (ATVM) have been installed at 38 locations in 25 stations in Varanasi division. A total of 4 ATVMs have been installed in Varanasi. 2 at Banaras station and 2 at Varanasi City station. By scanning the QR code installed on the ATVM, passengers can book their destination tickets themselves. At the same time, one can also inquire about trains from the machine. Inquiries about where you want to go and information about the train can be obtained.
Talking about Varanasi Railway Division, 4 each at Chhapra and Siwan stations, 2 each at Ghazipur City, Azamgarh, Ballia, Mau and Deoria Sadar stations and Prayagraj Rambagh, Gyanpur Road, Siswan Bazaar, Kaptanganj, Suremanpur, Belthara Road, Rasra. , 1 machine each has been installed in Ekma, Indara, Jakhanian, Aurihar, Duraundha, Mairwan, Thawe, Bhatpar Rani.

Digital payment will have to be made by scanning the QR code from the Android phone itself. If any technical problem arises, you can ask the facilitator. For this, facilitators have also been appointed on all these ATVMs. All these facilitators will help the passengers in getting tickets.
How will the machine work?
- First of all tell where you want to go on the screen of the kiosk machine. There will be a digital map here. You can tell your location on it.
- Select the ticket number. How many passengers have to travel?
- Passenger train, express or superfast, which train to travel by?
- Scan the QR code from any UPI app. The payment amount will come to your phone.
- The ticket printing process starts. Do not pull the ticket out until the entire ticket is printed and separated from the automatic machine.
Don’t do this to the machine
- The railway administration has issued information saying that this is a touch screen machine, use only fingers to work on it.
- Do not use pen, pencil or sharp object to touch the screen.
- Do not spit or spill liquid on the kiosk/screen.
