In a video of the incident which is going viral, the boyfriend is riding a bike and the woman is sitting in front of him and hugs her partner tightly during the ride. The couple also violated road safety norms as they were not wearing helmets. Many users shared this video and asked the traffic police to take strict action.

The incident occurred on National Highway 9 which falls under Simbhaoli police station. Many users criticized both of them for their irresponsible and obscene conduct.
Reacting to the video, Hapur police imposed a heavy fine on the couple. The bike driver was fined Rs 8,000 under the Motor Vehicles Act and legal proceedings were initiated.
Hapur Police wrote on #Hapurpolice immediately took cognizance and issued a challan of Rs 8000 on the said bike under MV Act and advance legal action is being taken.

The traffic police took cognizance of the incident and said that a case has been registered against the culprits under appropriate sections. The couple was booked for driving without helmet and license as well as dangerous driving. A total fine of Rs 11,000 was imposed on them.
