Aviation company Go Air’s aircraft operated a flight from Pune to Chennai on Tuesday to deliver seven lakh doses of the Corona virus vaccine. According to Go Air, the flight took off from Chennai to Pune on Tuesday morning carrying 70,800 vials (7,08,000 doses) of vaccine.
Go Air is taking steps to deliver the vaccine to all possible parts of the country
“We are overwhelmed by GoAir’s responsibility to transport life-saving Kovid-19 vaccines,” Kaushik Khona, CEO of GoAir, said in a statement. We are grateful that we had the opportunity to contribute to the vaccine campaign. Goyer said that the company is taking all possible steps to deliver the vaccine to all possible parts of the country.
Four airlines will deliver the vaccine
As part of the Kovid-19 vaccine from Pune to various parts of the country, a SpiceJet flight reached Delhi at 10 am on the first day. Civil Aviation Minister Hardeep Singh Puri said that four airlines will operate nine flights from Pune to 13 cities across the country to carry the Kovid-19 vaccine.
