Goa Board 12th exams will now start from 10 February 2025. Earlier these exams were to be held from 1 February 2025. The board has released the official notification regarding the changed date on the website. Candidates appearing for class 12 this year are advised to visit the portal and check this information.
New Delhi. Goa Board has changed the dates of class XII examinations. The 12th examinations starting from February 1, 2025 will now be conducted from February 10. The board has taken this decision to avoid clashes with the JEE Mains exam. Although the dates of JEE Mains January session have not been announced, the board has taken this decision based on the pattern of previous years. In fact, in some years the first session of JEE Mains is being held at the end of January. This is likely to happen this year as well. Seeing this situation, many parents and schools had raised the issue that children will not get time to prepare. Keeping this in mind, the board has taken this decision.
In the official notice issued by the board, it is said that, “The board has taken this decision due to the issue raised by many higher secondary schools and parents. The notice further said that, these issues were carefully considered and considering that JEE 2025 is expected to end by the end of January, which will not give proper time to the students to prepare for their board examinations. Therefore, the rescheduled dates will ensure that JEE candidates will have enough time to focus on both their entrance examination and board examination.
