In the first week of May, gold and silver climbed up to reach the record level. But later it saw a decline and it fell below Rs 60,000 on Monday. Similarly, the silver which crossed 77,000 is also looking dull now. Experts are hopeful that gold can touch the level of Rs 65,000 on the upcoming Diwali. At the same time, silver is expected to go up to Rs 80,000 per kg.
Gold and silver rise on MCX
On Tuesday, there was a rise in the rate of gold and silver on the Multi-Commodity Exchange (MCX). Although a day ago a big decline was seen. On Tuesday, gold is trending at Rs 59828 with a weakness of Rs 20 and silver at Rs 71659 per kg with a weakness of Rs 213 on MCX. Earlier on Monday, gold had closed at Rs 59848 and silver at Rs 71872 per kg.
Gold recovers after heavy fall
The rates were released on Tuesday by the official website of bullion market https://ibjarates.com. According to the website, 24 carat gold crossed Rs 60,000 mark with a gain of Rs 400 and reached Rs 60,003 per 10 grams. Similarly, a rise of more than Rs 200 was seen in the rate of silver and it climbed up to Rs 71688 per kg. Earlier on Monday, gold had closed at Rs 59601 per 10 grams and silver at Rs 71462 per kg.
