New Delhi: On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), there was an increase in the price of gold and silver today. On MCX, gold for delivery in August 2023 was trading at Rs 58,881 per 10 grams, up by Rs 108, or 0.18 per cent. In the previous session, the gold rate for the August contract was Rs 58,773 per 10 grams.

Similarly, gold for delivery in October 2023 was trading at Rs 59,262 per 10 grams with an increase of Rs 152 i.e. 0.26 per cent. Earlier on Tuesday, the gold rate of October contract was at the level of Rs 59,110 per 10 grams.

Silver price in futures market

On MCX, silver for delivery in September 2023 was trading at Rs 71,414 per kg, up by Rs 297, or 0.42 per cent. In the previous session, the price of silver with September contract was at the level of Rs 71,117 per kg.

Similarly, silver for delivery in December 2023 was trading at Rs 72,870 per kg with a gain of Rs 356, or 0.49 per cent. In the previous session, the price of December contract silver was at Rs 72,514 per kg.

Gold price in global market

On Comex, gold for delivery in August 2023 was trading at $ 1,944.20 an ounce, up 0.37 per cent. Similarly, in the spot market, gold was trading at a level of $ 1,939.01 per ounce with an increase of 0.35 percent.

Silver price in international market

On Comex, silver for delivery in September was trading at $ 23.44 an ounce, up 0.68 per cent. Similarly, in the spot market, silver was trading at a level of $ 23.23 an ounce with an increase of 0.49 percent.
