Gold Price 22nd June: The continuous decline in the price of gold and silver continues. There has been a record decline in gold and silver for the fifth consecutive day. The effect of this is that gold has reached below 59,000 and silver below 69,000 in the bullion market. In the beginning of May itself, gold had crossed Rs 61,000 and silver had crossed Rs 77,000. There is a wave of happiness among the people due to softening in the rate of gold and silver during the wedding season. Gold and silver may come down further in the coming times.

Softening in the rate of gold and silver

On Thursday, both the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) and the bullion market saw a big decline. The same trend continues in the bullion market as well. Gold has fallen by around Rs.2700 in the last one and a quarter months. Silver has also reached the level of Rs 71,000, in which a decline of more than Rs 6000 is being seen during this period.

Gold and silver rates fell on MCX

On Thursday, there was a decline in the rate of gold and silver on the Multi-Commodity Exchange (MCX). On MCX on Thursday, gold fell by Rs 161 to Rs 58553 per 10 grams and silver declined by Rs 386 to trade at Rs 68861 per kg. Earlier on Wednesday, gold had closed at Rs 58714 and silver at Rs 69247 per kg on MCX.

Big fall in bullion market too

A big decline is also being seen in the rate of bullion market on Thursday. According to the official website https://ibjarates.com for the rate of bullion market, 24-carat gold fell by about Rs.200 to Rs.58,670 per 10 grams and 999-inch silver fell by about Rs.1,400 to Rs.68,753 per kg. Apart from the rate given on the website, you will also have to pay GST and making charges. Earlier on Wednesday, silver had closed at Rs 70133 per kg and gold at Rs 58670 per 10 grams.
