Gold & Silver Rate Today: The effect of rise in the price of gold and silver in the international market was also seen on MCX today. Gold and silver prices registered a rise in the futures market today.
New Delhi: There was a jump in the gold price in the futures market today. On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), gold for delivery in August 2023 was trading at Rs 59,597 per 10 grams, a gain of Rs 136, or 0.23 per cent. In the previous session, the gold rate for the August contract was at Rs 59,461 per 10 grams.
Similarly, gold for delivery in October 2023 was trading at a level of Rs 60,078 per 10 grams with a rise of Rs 168 i.e. 0.28 per cent. In the previous session, the gold rate for October contract was at Rs 59,910 per 10 grams.
Similarly, gold for delivery in December 2023 was at a level of Rs 60,436 per 10 grams, with an increase of Rs 122, or 0.20 per cent. In the previous session, the gold rate for December contract was at the level of Rs 60,314 per 10 grams.
Silver price in futures market
On MCX, silver for delivery in September 2023 was trading at Rs 75,945 per kg, up by Rs 621, or 0.82 per cent. In the previous session, the price of silver with September contract was at the level of Rs 75,324 per kg.
In this way, silver for delivery in December 2023 was trading at Rs 77,400 per kg with a gain of Rs 590, or 0.77 per cent. In the previous session, the price of silver with December contract was at Rs 76,810 per kg.
Gold price in global market
On Comex, the December contract gold was trading at a level of $ 2,017.20 an ounce with a gain of 0.38 per cent. Similarly, in the spot market, gold was trading at a level of $ 1,978.69 per ounce with a gain of 0.34 per cent.
Silver price in international market
On Comex, silver for delivery in September 2023 was trading at a level of $ 25.21 an ounce, up by 0.96 per cent. Similarly, in the spot market, silver was trading at a level of $ 25.08 per ounce with a gain of 0.60 per cent.
