Gold Rates Today: gold shines again, silver also rises – know what are the new rates

Gold rates today: Gold and silver prices saw an increase this morning. Gold closed down 0.5% after trading at an all-day high yesterday.

Gold rates today: Gold and silver prices saw an increase this morning. After trading at the edge for the whole day yesterday, gold had closed down by 0.5%, silver also fell so much. Today, February futures of gold on MCX are trading at Rs 109 per 10 gram.

On the other hand, with the rise in the prices of precious metals internationally, gold rose by Rs 297 to close at Rs 48,946 per 10 grams on Tuesday for the second consecutive day in Delhi Bullion Market. According to HDFC Securities, gold had closed at Rs 48,649 per 10 grams in the previous trading session. Silver also rose by Rs 1,404 to Rs 65,380 per kg during this period, compared to Rs 63,976 per kg in the previous trading session.




Corona effect on Gold

In the international market, gold strengthened to $ 1,858 an ounce, while silver closed at $ 25.39 an ounce. HDFC Securities Senior Analyst Tapan Patel said investors became cautious about rising cases of corona virus around the world and gold prices strengthened. Rising infection cases have raised concerns about the economic recovery, leading to bullion Trading increased.

MCX Gold rates

Due to strong spot demand, speculators bought fresh deals, in which gold rose by Rs 109 to Rs 49,450 per 10 grams in futures trade on Tuesday. On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), the price of gold futures delivered in February rose by Rs 109, or 0.22 per cent to Rs 49,450 per 10 grams. It traded for 8,742 lots.

Shopping in gold

Market analysts said that buying of fresh positions by traders led to rise in gold futures. In the international market, New York, gold was trading 0.41 percent up at $ 1,858.40 an ounce.
