Good news about DA! Dearness allowance may increase from ‘this’ month

7th Pay Commission: The Modi government has increased the dearness allowance of central employees to 28 percent.

It has already been announced. Now the employees can get a good news again. The government may soon add dearness allowance for June as well. If this happens, then central employees will get 31 percent Dearness Allowance (DA) instead of 28 percent in September.

In fact, no decision has been taken yet regarding the Dearness Allowance for June 2021. It is clear from the AICPI data that it can increase by 3 percent. This announcement can be made in September next month. Its payment is also likely to be done in the month of September itself.

The employees’ union says that if the dearness allowance for June is announced and paid in September, then the government should also give arrears for two months, July and August. The government has refused to pay arrears of one and a half years. In such a situation, if June 2021 is announced, then it will be a big relief.

If the dearness allowance is increased by 3 per cent, then it will be 31 per cent and if this happens then the salary of central employees will increase once again.
