Good News! DDA changed the rules of Housing Schemes, now you can increase the size of your flat like this

DDA Housing Flats Scheme: Delhi Development Authority (DDA) has changed the rules of housing in Delhi. According to the new rules, now home buyers can increase the size of their flat by joining two flats.

DDA Housing Flats Scheme: Delhi Development Authority (DDA) has launched a new flat scheme to ensure people have their own homes. In this scheme, 5500 flats will be allotted to the people. Along with this new scheme, DDA has given a new facility to the people, under which people can increase the size of their flat by connecting two adjacent flats.

A senior official told that the DDA has approved the addition of flats offered under the ongoing flat scheme. With this the flat owners will be able to increase the size of their flat. The official said that by putting a gate in the wall between the two flats, the owner will be able to increase the size of his house.

Flat scheme is getting strong response

DDA has opened this new flat scheme on June 30, in which flats will be distributed to the people on the basis of first come first serve (FCFS). DDA officials told that this scheme is getting very good response from the people. So far about 4000 people have registered themselves in this scheme.

What is the new rule

The official said that if an applicant buys two flats side by side in the fourth phase of FCFS, then with the necessary conditions, the flat owner will be able to connect both the flats by installing a gate. This rule will be applicable to all types of flats and localities. However, for this people will have to take necessary approval.

In this housing scheme, DDA will provide flats in different categories such as High Income Group (HIG), Middle Income Group (MIG), and Low Income Group (LIG). The objective of this housing scheme is to fulfill the need of the people to own a house in Delhi and improve the standard of living of its residents.
