Ballia: This news is dedicated and successful for all those people of Ballia district who come under the category of Divyang. A plan has been made to provide prosthetic devices absolutely free of cost to all those Divyangs as per their requirement depending on the affected organ. A website has also been developed for this. Needy Divyang brothers can avail the benefits of this important scheme by applying quickly.
District Divyang Empowerment Officer of Ballia A.K. (Ashok Kumar) Gautam said that the operation of the scheme has been started to provide absolutely free prosthetic limbs/assistive devices to the Divyang brothers, which will become a big support for the Divyangs.
Apply quickly and get prosthetic limbs
All those Divyangjans of the district who need prosthetic limbs or assistive devices can apply. The application process has started and will close after June 30. For this, a coloured passport size photo showing disability, date of birth/age certificate (copy of family register/high school mark sheet), identity certificate (voter ID/high school mark sheet/UDID card/Aadhar card), income certificate (urban area- Rs 56460/- annually and rural area- Rs 46080/- annually), disability certificate and UDID card, caste certificate, residence certificate, recommendation certificate from medical officer for the device will have to be given.
