Good news for air travelers! Delhi’s Terminal-2 airport started from today, GoAir and IndiGo will re-fill flights

Delhi Airport Terminal-2: From today air travelers will be able to catch flights from Terminal-2 of Delhi. This will also reduce the burden of passengers at Terminal-3. Go-Air and Indigo flights fly from this terminal.



Delhi Airport Terminal-2 : There is good news for air travelers. Terminal 2 of Delhi airport has opened from today. IndiGo 2000-2999 series aircraft and all GoAir flights will resume their flights from this terminal. After the relaxation of the lockdown restrictions, there has been an increase in the number of passengers, after which it has been decided to open Terminal-2.

Delhi Airport T-2 opens from today

Delhi International Airport Limited (DIAL), the company that operates Delhi Airport, said that about 200 flights will fly daily from Terminal-2, of which 100 will be incoming and 100 will be outgoing. Gradually their number will be increased. By the end of August, about 280 flights will be operated daily from here. DIAL has estimated that initially around 25,000 air passengers will use the terminal daily.

GoAir and IndiGo flights will take off

A total of 27 counters have been set up at Terminal-2 for the convenience of the passengers. In which 11 counters are of GoAir and 16 counters are of IndiGo Airlines. At present, all flights were operating from Terminal 3 due to Corona infection. Terminal 2 was closed on 18 May. After the relaxation of the lockdown, there has been an increase in the number of passengers, after which DIAL has decided to open Terminal-2 as well.

Social distancing will be strictly followed

Keeping in mind the corona, a way has been made here through barricading to ensure social distance. Additional personnel have been deployed at the airport to maintain social distancing and ensure strict compliance. Social distancing marks have been made at check-in halls, security check areas, boarding gates. For e-boarding pass, 22 kiosks have been installed at the entry gate itself. Around 200 employees will do sanitization and cleanliness at the airport 24 hours a day.

Air travelers take note

1. 10 e-check-in kiosks and 10 scanners have been installed at Terminal-2.

2. There will be thermal checking of everyone before entering the airport.

3. If there is a soft copy on the mobile then the printed boarding pass will not be required.

4. Several Queue Managers and Passenger Assistants have been deputed for the convenience of the passengers at Terminal-2
