Good news for Airtel consumers, company launches Kovid support initiative on digital platform

The telecom company said in a statement that it has integrated easy-access Kovid support resources and related information into the Explore section of the Airtel Thanks App.




New Delhi. Telecom service provider Bharti Airtel has launched a new initiative involving Kovid support for customers through its digital platform. With this, Bharti Airtel has joined the growing list of companies that have launched different types of facilities on their digital platforms to help people amid the second wave of epidemic.

The telecom company said in a statement that it has integrated easy-access Kovid support resources and related information into the Explore section of the Airtel Thanks App. After downloading the latest version of the app, users have to go to the explore section and click on the Kovid Support banner. The statement said that Kovid SOS (message of life-saving solicitation) submits verified and updated contacts for essential supplies such as medicines, oxygen, plasma donors, ambulances, hospital beds and testing centers. With a few clicks this platform connects users to these service providers / resources and tries to ensure that users do not have to waste their precious time to get this data.

The company said that the information available on Kovid SOS is verified information by the teams of Airtel. According to the statement, users of the Airtel Thanks App can also book a vaccination slot for themselves and their loved ones through this app.
