In the case of the same university, a letter related to the new pension scheme was sent by the state government in 2020-21. which has not yet been withdrawn. To implement the same old pension scheme, first the Directorate of Higher Education will have to cancel these letters. After this, the old pension scheme can be implemented for pre-2004 employees.
Case stuck here
Prior to this, technical problems are being seen in the state university for the teachers appointed after 2004 including 750 teachers of 2008 batch appointed under JPSC and the employees who got compassionate appointment. Because of this, information was given by the state government by sending a letter to the university on 20-21. In which it was said that the university personnel appointed after 2004 are being included in the purview of the new pension scheme.
At the same time, only after receiving the letter from the government, there was opposition from the employees appointed on compassionate grounds including the education officer. The same was the reason for the protest of the employees that when after the appointment in 2004, why is the information about the implementation of the new pension scheme and deduction in the university being given in the year 2020?
