Good news for farmers! Registration opened on ‘meree phasal mera byaura, it will benefit

In the first two days of Rabi marketing season 2021-22, 3574 farmers reached the mandis with 2.5 lakh quintals of wheat. MSP will be paid online.

There is good news for farmers willing to sell wheat, mustard, pulses, sunflower, gram and barley. For the convenience of the farmers, the Haryana government has reopened the portal My Meri Fasal Mera Byora. Farmers who were not able to register for any reason, should register on the portal soon. Otherwise, they will not be able to sell their crops in government mandis. A farmer cannot sell his produce without giving details of crop details in Haryana on the orders of the Central Government.

It is said that 7.80 lakh farmers have been registered on the portal. A state government official said that from April 1, the procurement of Rabi marketing season 2021-22 has started. In the first 2 days, a total of 3574 farmers reached the mandis with 2.5 lakh quintals of wheat. Which government agencies bought.




Scheduling farmers on the portal

Officials said that farmers who want to bring their wheat crop to the mandi next week, can do the scheduling on the e-procurement portal. You can choose the date of bringing the mandi and the crop according to your wish. Apart from this, farmers can also decide the schedule of their crop sale by contacting the concerned market secretary, market committee or mandi call center.

Else claim 9 percent interest

The Manohar Lal government has claimed that farmers will get 9 percent interest if they are not paid on time in exchange for crop sales. Payment will be made within 40 hours of receiving Form-J on sale. Its maximum time is 72 hours. This year, arrangements have been made to make 100 percent online payment.

How much is the goal of the purchase

This year, the Haryana government has set a target of buying 80 lakh metric tonnes of wheat. Whereas in the Rabi marketing season 2020-21, it had purchased 60.3 percent of its total wheat production i.e. 74 lakh metric tons. In return, 7,80,962 farmers received Rs 14,245 crore as the minimum support price. This province is one of the major producers of wheat. It contributes 13.20 percent of the country’s total wheat production.
