Good news for railway passengers: will reach home comfortably during festivals, railways started 26 festival special trains

There is good news for railway passengers. In view of the rush of the festive season, Indian Railways has started 26 new special trains. Passengers going to their homes from cities will now be able to reach their destination comfortably and they will not have to struggle to get a confirmed ticket. These special trains will leave for different parts of the country from Delhi. If you are also planning to go home in the festive season, then know about the timing, route and running of these trains. Also, be sure to get a confirmed ticket immediately.

On Friday, Northern Railway informed that in view of upcoming festivals, railways New Delhi-Darbhanga, Barauni-Katra, Chandigarh-Gorakhpur, Anand Vihar Terminal-Saharsa, Jaynagar/Muzaffarpur/Bathinda-Varanasi, Katra-Varanasi, Delhi-Varanasi Festival special trains will operate between Sealdah-Haridwar and Hatia-Gorakhpur.

This train will run two days a week between Anand Vihar and Muzaffarpur
01676/01675 Anand Vihar Terminal-Muzaffarpur-Anand Vihar Terminal Bi-weekly Festival Special Train.
This train (01676) will leave Anand Vihar Terminal at 10.50 pm on every Monday and Wednesday from Anand Vihar Terminal to Muzaffarpur two days a week from 11 October 2021 to 17 November 2021 and will reach Muzaffarpur at 10.00 pm the next day.

In the return direction, 01675 Muzaffarpur – Anand Vihar Terminal Bi-Weekly Festival Special train will depart Muzaffarpur at 11.45 pm on every Tuesday and Thursday from 12.10.2021 to 18.11.2021 and arrive Anand Vihar Terminal at 11.30 pm the next day.

Enroute, this special train will stop at Moradabad, Chandausi, Lucknow, Gorakhpur, Chhapra and Hajipur stations in both the directions

Pooja Special will go from New Delhi to Darbhanga twice a week
01670 New Delhi – Darbhanga Bi-Weekly Festival Special train will depart New Delhi at 07.25 PM on every Monday and Thursday from 11.10.2021 to 18.11.2021 and arrive Darbhanga at 04.00 PM the next day.

In the return direction, 01669 Darbhanga – New Delhi Bi-Weekly Festival Special train will depart Darbhanga at 06.00 PM on every Tuesday and Friday from 12.10.2021 to 19.11.2021 and arrive New Delhi at 04.40 PM the next day.

Enroute, this special train will stop at Moradabad, Bareilly, Lucknow, Gorakhpur, Narkatiaganj, Raxaul and Sitamarhi stations in both the directions.

Announcement of weekly train between Chandigarh and Gorakhpur
01656 Chandigarh-Gorakhpur Weekly Festival Special train will leave Chandigarh at 11.15 pm on every Thursday from 14.10.2021 to 18.11.2021 and will reach Gorakhpur at 06.20 pm the next day.

In the return direction, 01655 Gorakhpur – Chandigarh Weekly Festival Special train will leave Gorakhpur at 10.10 pm on every Friday from 15.10.2021 to 19.11.2021 and will reach Chandigarh at 02.10 pm the next day.

Enroute, this weekly special will halt at Ambala Cantonment, Saharanpur, Moradabad, Bareilly, Lucknow, Gonda and Basti stations in both the directions.

Pooja special will run for two days between New Delhi-Barauni
01638 New Delhi – Barauni Bi-Weekly Festival Special train will depart New Delhi at 07.25 PM on every Tuesday and Friday from 12.10.2021 to 19.11.2021 and arrive Barauni at 04.00 PM the next day.

In the return direction, 01637 Barauni – New Delhi Bi-Weekly Festival Special train will depart Barauni at 07.30 PM on every Wednesday and Saturday from 13.10.2021 to 20.11.2021 and arrive New Delhi at 04.40 PM the next day.

Enroute, this special train will stop at Moradabad, Bareilly, Lucknow, Gorakhpur, Siwan, Chhapra and Hajipur stations in both the directions.

Festival special will go from Anand Vihar to Saharsa two days a week
01662 Anand Vihar Terminal – Saharsa Bi-Weekly Festival Special train will depart from Anand Vihar Terminal at 11.10 am on every Monday and Thursday from 11.10.2021 to 18.11.2021 and arrive Saharsa at 11.30 am the next day.

In the return direction, 01661 Saharsa – Anand Vihar Terminal Bi-Weekly Festival Special train will depart Saharsa at 02.30 PM on every Tuesday and Friday from 12.10.2021 to 19.11.2021 and arrive Anand Vihar Terminal at 01.55 PM the next day.

Enroute this special train will run between Hapur, Moradabad, Bareilly, Hardoi, Lucknow, Gorakhpur, Deoria Sadar, Siwan, Chhapra, Hajipur, Muzaffarpur, Samastipur, Dalsingh Sarai, Barauni, Begusarai, Khagadia and S. Will stop at Bakhtiyarpur stations in both the directions.




Announcement of special worship from Anand Vihar to Jaynagar
01668 Anand Vihar Terminal – Jaynagar Bi-Weekly Festival Special train will depart from Anand Vihar Terminal at 10.30 am on every Tuesday and Friday from 12.10.2021 to 19.11.2021 and arrive Jaynagar at 01.35 pm the next day.

In the return direction, 01667 Jaynagar – Anand Vihar Terminal Bi-Weekly Festival Special train will depart Jaynagar at 03.30 PM on every Wednesday and Saturday from 13.10.2021 to 20.11.2021 and arrive Anand Vihar Terminal at 07.00 PM the next day.

Enroute this special train is Moradabad, Bareilly, Lucknow, Sultanpur, Varanasi, Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay Jn, Buxar, Ara, Danapur, Patna Jn, Bakhtiyarpur, Mokama Jn, Barauni Jn, Samastipur Jn, Darbhanga Jn and Madhubani station in both directions. Will stay

Train from Delhi to Mata Vaishno Devi 3 days a week
01633 New Delhi – Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra – New Delhi will depart for 3 days a week from 10.10.2021 to 21.11.2021 on every Wednesday, Friday and Sunday at 11.30 pm and will reach Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra at 12.00 noon the next day.

In return direction 01634 Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra – New Delhi 3 days a week from 11.10.2021 to 22.11.2021 on every Thursday, Saturday and Monday at 09.30 PM and leaving Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra at 10.30 AM the next day. Will reach Delhi.

Enroute, this special train will stop at Sonipat, Panipat, Karnal, Kurukshetra, Ambala Cantonment, Ludhiana, Jaldhar Cantonment, Pathankot Cantonment, Jammu and Udhampur stations in both the directions.




Bathinda to Varanasi train will run two days a week
01636 Bathinda – Varanasi Bi-Weekly Festival Special train will depart Bathinda at 09.05 hrs on every Sunday and Wednesday from 10.10.2021 to 21.11.2021 and arrive Varanasi at 05.00 PM the next day.

In the return direction, 01635 Varanasi – Bathinda Bi-Weekly Festival Special train will leave Varanasi at 09.00 hrs on every Monday and Thursday from 11.10.2021 to 22.11.2021 and arrive Bathinda at 07.10 PM the next day.

Enroute this special train will stop at Rampuraphul, Barnala, Dhuri, Patiala, Rajpura, Ambala Cantonment, Yamunanagar, Saharanpur, Moradabad, Bareilly, Lucknow and Sultanpur stations in both the directions.

Also weekly train from Varanasi to Vaishno Devi
01654 Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra-Varanasi Weekly Special will leave Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra at 11.20 PM on every Sunday from 10.10.2021 to 21.11.2021 and will reach Varanasi at 11.45 PM the next day.

In the return direction, 01653 Varanasi – Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra Weekly Special will depart from Varanasi at 06.10 AM on every Tuesday from 12.10.2021 to 23.11.2021 and will reach Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra at 10.55 AM the next day.

Enroute, this special train will stop at Udhampur, Jammu, Pathankot Cantonment, Jalandhar Cantonment, Ludhiana, Ambala Cantonment, Saharanpur, Moradabad, Bareilly, Lucknow and Sultanpur stations in both the directions.

Delhi to Varanasi special train will run three days a week
Train number 01674 will leave Delhi Jn at 10.50 pm on every Tuesday, Friday and Sunday from 12.10.2021 to 21.11.2021 and will reach Varanasi at 04.35 pm the next day.

In return direction 01673 Varanasi – Delhi Jn will depart Varanasi at 06.30 pm on every Wednesday, Saturday and Monday for 3 days a week from 13.10.2021 to 22.11.2021 and will reach Delhi Jn at 01.00 pm the next day.




Enroute, this special train will stop at Moradabad, Chandausi, Lucknow and Sultanpur stations in both the directions.

Train will run two days a week from Anand Vihar Bhi to Vaishno Devi
01671 Anand Vihar Terminal – Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra – Anand Vihar Terminal Bi-Weekly Special Departing from Anand Vihar Terminal at 11.00 PM on every Monday and Thursday from 11.10.2021 to 18.11.2021 Shri Mata Vaishno Devi the next day at 01.30 PM Will reach Katra.

In return direction 01672 Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra-Anand Vihar Terminal Bi-Weekly Special from 12.10.2021 to 19.11.2021 on every Tuesday and Friday leaving Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra at 09.10 PM and Anand Vihar Terminal at 10.45 AM the next day Will arrive.

Enroute, this special train will halt at Udhampur, Jammu, Pathankot Cantonment, Jalandhar Cantonment, Ludhiana, Ambala Cantonment, Yamunanagar, Jagadhri, Saharanpur, Muzaffarnagar, Meerut City and Ghaziabad stations in both the directions.

Weekly train will run between Sealdah to Haridwar
03757 Sealdah-Haridwar Weekly Special will leave Sealdah at 03.00 PM on every Saturday from 09.10.2021 to 27.11.2021 and will reach Haridwar at 06.15 PM the next day.

In the return direction, 03758 Haridwar-Sealdah Weekly Special will leave Haridwar at 08.20 hrs on every Sunday from 10.10.2021 to 28.11.2021 and will reach Sealdah at 11.55 hrs the next day.

Enroute this special train will stop at Vardhman, Durgapur, Asansol, Dhanbad, Gaya, Pandit Deendayal Jn, Varanasi, Lucknow, Bareilly, Moradabad and Luxor stations in both the directions.

Weekly Festival Special from Gorakhpur to Hatia
08187 Hatia-Gorakhpur Weekly Super Fast Special will leave Hatia at 11.45 pm on every Friday from 08.10.2021 to 05.11.2021 and will reach Gorakhpur at 05.20 pm the next day.




In the return direction, 08188 Gorakhpur – Hatia Weekly Super Fast Special will leave Gorakhpur at 07.30 PM on every Saturday from 09.10.2021 to 06.11.2021 and will reach Hatia at 11.50 AM the next day.

Enroute this special train will stop at Ranchi, Muri, Barkakana, Daltonganj, Garba Road, Dehri on Son, Sasaram, Bhabua Road, Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Jn, Varanasi Jn, Mau Jn, Belthara Road and Deoria Sadar stations in both the directions.
