In Bihar, teachers appointed after August 2020 will be decided on the basis of previous service, while their old pay scale will also be taken into account in the new appointment.
The private government will give the benefit of salary protection to the employed teachers in the new appointment. Teachers appointed after 20 August 2020 will get its benefit. In case of employment on a higher level post in the planning unit or any other planning unit, their salary will be protected by giving the benefit of continuity of service.
Determination of pay scale of teachers on the basis of previous service
Along with this, the pay scale of teachers appointed after August 2020 will be decided on the basis of past service only. It has also been decided to take into account their old pay scale in the new appointment. An important decision has been taken in the Nitish cabinet meeting. In such a situation, the employees will be given continuous after 20 August 2020.
According to this, if any employed teacher becomes a teacher after passing the recruitment process by the Bihar Public Service Commission, then his minimum salary amount will not be less than what he gets as an employed teacher. He will be paid the same amount. Teachers appointed through Bihar Public Service Commission will get its benefit.
