Good News! Go First gets relief after about two and a half months, DGCA gives permission to fly flight

Indian Airlines Go First: DGCA said on Friday that it has approved Go First’s plan to resume operations with 15 aircraft and 114 daily flights with certain conditions.

GoFirst Flight Resume: Indian airline GoFirst, which has been facing financial crisis for a long time, has got a big relief from DGCA. Aviation regulator DGCA has given permission to GoFirst airline to operate the aircraft again. The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) said on Friday that it has approved GoFirst’s plan to resume operations with 15 aircraft and 114 daily flights with certain conditions.

Let us tell you that the insolvency resolution process is going on against Go First. The company had stopped its airlines from May 3.

Got permission to fly 15 planes

DGCA said in a press release that the airline’s resumption of operations plan to operate 15 aircraft and 114 daily flights has been reviewed and accepted.

The DGCA has said that this approval is subject to the outcome of the writ petitions/applications pending before the Delhi High Court and Delhi Bench of NCLT. According to the press release, Go First can start operating the services after getting interim funding and permission from DGCA for scheduled flights.

Instructions for regular checkup

The regulator directed Go First to meet all applicable regulatory requirements and also to regularly check the airworthiness of the aircraft. The resolution professional (RP) of the airline had submitted the plan to restore the services to the DGCA on June 28. After that, the DGCA had conducted a special audit of various facilities related to flights of the company in Mumbai and Delhi.
