The bank said in a statement that on November 22, 2021, there was a news that SBI is not refunding the charges collected on digital transactions from the customers. The bank said that this news is false that it is not refunding the charges taken on digital transactions from customers. They confirm that the Bank is fully complying with the orders and regulatory directions of the Government in this regard.
The bank said that in the Bank Mitra or Business Correspondent channel, banking and micro insurance services are provided in assisted mode to customers in rural and semi-urban areas.
From January 1, 2020, digital transactions are free for these customers.
State Bank of India has made all digital transactions free for financial inclusion customers with effect from 1 January 2020. Apart from this, a maximum of four cash withdrawals in a month are free, the statement said. Completely free digital transactions and four free cash withdrawals are enabling these customers to meet all their banking needs.

If you have an account with SBI, then you have to call the customer care number 18004253800 and 1800112211. After this, you have to select your language. Press “1” to know the balance and last five transactions. Now you will know your balance. Apart from this, account holders of State Bank of India can do this by calling 92237 66666 from their registered mobile number.
