Metro, Railways, State Government buses, toll parking charges can be paid through Paytm Transit Card.
Paytm Payments Bank Limited on Monday announced the launch of Paytm Transit Card in keeping with the vision of One Nation, One Card. This card will take care of the daily needs of the users. Like metro, railways, state government bus services, toll and parking charges to pay at offline merchant stores, can be used for online shopping. Not only this, through this card you can also withdraw money from ATM.
The launch of the Transit Card is in line with the bank’s initiative to bring products that make banking and transactions seamless to all Indians, Paytm Payments Bank said in a statement. A digital process has also been created to apply, recharge and track card transactions on the Paytm app. That card will be delivered to the users’ home or it can be bought at the sales centers. The prepaid card is directly linked to the Paytm Wallet.

Paytm Transit Card rollout is being started in collaboration with Hyderabad Metro Rail. Users in Hyderabad can now buy a transit card, which can be displayed at the automatic fare collection gate for travel. Paytm Transit Card will help over 50 lakh commuters who use metro/bus/train services daily and experience seamless connectivity.
The card has already started in Delhi Airport Express Line and Ahmedabad Metro. With Paytm Transit Card, people can use the same card in metros as well as other metro stations across the country.
Satish Gupta, MD & CEO, Paytm Payments Bank said that with the launch of Paytm Transit Card, millions of Indians will be able to do all the work through a single card. Banking needs and transport have been specially taken care of in this card. The bank has enabled more than 280 toll plazas on National and State Highways to deposit toll charges digitally.
