Good News: SBI Card and BPCL launch special credit cards, get 4.25 percent value back on fuel spend, know more features

Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) and SBI Card on Thursday announced the launch of BPCL SBI Card co-branded RuPay contactless credit card.

New Delhi. The ever-increasing petrol and diesel prices across the country have troubled everyone, but what would you say if you were given cashback on fuel expenses? In fact, Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) and SBI Card on Thursday announced the launch of BPCL SBI Card co-branded RuPay contactless credit card. With this card, customers will get many other benefits along with saving on fuel expenses.

Special Features of the Card

1. Cardholders will get 2000 Activation Bonus Reward Points on payment of joining fee of Rs.500.

2. Through this card, every Rs 100 spent on fuel at BPCL Petrol Pumps will get 13X Reward Points (reward rate 4.25 per cent) i.e. effectively 4.25 per cent valueback (including 1 per cent surcharge waiver).




3. Through this credit card, 5X reward points (reward rate 1.25 percent) will be available on every Rs 100 spent in grocery, department store, movies and dining categories.

4. Fuel surcharge of 1% will not have to be paid on payment of fuel purchase at petrol pumps with this card. Fuel surcharge can be waived up to a maximum of Rs 4,000 in one billing cycle.

5. This card is equipped with contactless technology, which also provides the facility of ‘Tap and Pay’ to the customers i.e. payment can be made by simply tapping on the POS machine without swiping the card. Let us tell you that you can pay up to 5 thousand rupees without entering a PIN with a contactless card.
