Good News: SBI has issued new rules, now you can transfer your bank account from one branch to another

SBI allows its customers to transfer from one branch to another branch sitting at home. KYC is necessary to transfer the account to another branch and your mobile number should be registered with the bank.

According to the information given on the SBI website, it is necessary to have a KYC to transfer the bank account to another branch and your mobile number should be registered with the bank. After this happens, you can transfer bank account online with SBI.

SBI’s new ATM service: Just WhatApp to get cash near your house

Step-1 Go to SBI website www.onlinesbi.com and login by entering username and password in personal banking.

Step-2 After this, you have to click on the option of ‘e services’.

Step-3 You will see ‘Transfer of savings account’ there. You have to click there.

Step-4 There, you will see your account number and branch. If you have more than one account, select the transferring account.

Step-5 Enter the code of the branch you want to transfer and it will show the name of the branch itself. Click on it and then confirm.

Step-6 After this an OTP will come on your registered mobile number. Submit by submitting OTP. Now there will be a message show that your branch transfer request has been registered, which will be done within a week. After one week you login, then the name of the new branch will appear in the account.

If you are a customer of SBI, check, demand draft, pick up of pay order, account statement request, term deposit receipt will come at home. You do not need to go to the bank for these.

According to the information given on the SBI website, under the doorstep banking service, customers will get cash pickup, cash delivery, check receipts, draft delivery, check requisition at home, life certificate pickup, pickup of KYC document, form- Many facilities of the bank are available like pickup of 15.




One can register for doorstep banking service through the bank’s app, website or call center. On the same day, toll free number 1800111103 can be called between 9 am and 4 pm on working days.
