Good News: Tejas Express Mumbai Central to Ahmedabad Restored from this date, check timetable

The Indian Railways has restored the services of Mumbai Central to Ahmedabad Tejas Express from August 7, 2021 for the convenience of its passengers.



IRCTC Tejas Express Mumbai Central to Ahmedabad: There is a big relief for the railway passengers. The Western Railway will restore the Tejas Express (Mumbai Central to Ahmedabad) from August 7, 2021. The passengers can book their tickets by logging in to the official IRCTC website at irctc.co.in. For any queries, the passengers can login to enquiry.indiarail.gov.in.

The Western Railway has recently informed about the restoration of the Tejas Express from its official Twitter handle. It tweeted, “For the convenience of passengers, WR will restore Train No. 82901/82902 Mumbai Central – Ahmedabad Tejas Express w.e.f. 7th August, 2021. This train will run as fully reserved train and the booking of this train is open only on IRCTC website.”

Sumit Thakur, Chief Public Relations Officer of Western Railway has issued a press release informing the details of the train. As per the release, train number 82901 Mumbai Central to Ahmedabad Tejas Express will depart from Mumbai Central at 3.45 PM every Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Sunday and Monday. The train will reach Ahmedabad at 10.05 PM on the same day.

Again, train number 82902 Ahmedabad to Mumbai Central Tejas Express will depart from Ahmedabad at 6.40 AM every Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday. The train will arrive at Mumbai Central at 1.05 PM on the same day.

IRCTC has recently tweeted from its official Twitter handle about the trips on Tejas Express. IRCTC tweeted, “Plan your #weekend getaway with #TejasExpress. It’s a #journey you & your #family will #love. To #book your #Lucknow-#Delhi-Lucknow & #Ahmedabad-#Mumbai-Ahmedabad journey #tickets, visit irctc.co.in today.”

The passengers must note that the train will halt at Andheri, Borivali, Vapi, Surat, Bharuch, Vadodara and Nadiad stations in both directions. It must be noted that the halt at Andheri station has been permitted only on temporary basis till October 31, 2021. The trains will comprise of AC Chair Car and AC Executive Chair Car coaches.



The passengers must note that only those with confirmed tickets will be allowed to board the special train. Furthermore, the passengers are requested to adhere to all norms, SOPs related to COVID-19 during, boarding, travelling and at the destination.
