According to the National Council of Joint Consultative Machinery (JCM), the union of central employees, the meeting which was to be held on May 8, will now be held on June 26. In the meeting, along with the DA and DR of the 7th Pay Commission, other issues of the employees will also be included. Getting 17% DA
Central employees are getting 17% DA at present. It had increased to 21% in January 2019. But due to Corona, the hike was frozen till June 2021. Shiv Gopal Mishra said that the government is ready to issue DA. But arrears also have to be paid. Dearness Allowance is a part of salary and Dearness Relief is part of pension. The government has arrears of 18 months. He has to issue it.
DA can increase up to 32 percent
Employees’ organizations say that the amount of DA should be increased by 24 percent in June 2020, 28 percent in December 2020 and 32 percent in July 21.
