Now people will not need to go to the RTO office for work. 33 services of RTO are being made online from Wednesday. It also includes the test of learning driving license. Thousands of applicants will get benefit from faceless service every day. People will not need to go to the transport office for these services. After the introduction of faceless services, only permanent driving license and fitness test will be required to go to the transport office. This will be the process
In this, the applicant will apply online for any service in https://transport.delhi.gov.in/home/transport-department through Aadhaar card. After this, automatically the name of the applicant, date of birth, address, name of guardian or father, photo of the application will be registered in the form. Along with the application, the applicant will have to make a declaration of physical fitness online. As soon as the application is submitted, the applicant will receive the application number through SMS. In this new system, the applicant will get the password through SMS on depositing the digital fee. With the help of this online application can be done. Online test for learning license
The applicant will have to take a test on his computer, in which 20 questions will be asked which will be of 10 marks. The type of questions related to road safety, traffic signs will be objective type. The applicant getting 6 marks will be considered as pass. After this the learning license will be automatically issued online, which can be printed by the applicant.
1 crore learning licenses are made every year
At present, about 10 million learning driving licenses are produced in the country every year. Four offices in Delhi closed from today
Four MLO offices in Delhi will be closed from today as soon as 33 transport services are made faceless by the government. These include Sarai Kale Khan, IP Estate, Vasant Vihar and Janakpuri Office. These offices will work as general convenience centres.
