Google New Rules: If you use different services of Google, then this news is of your use. Actually, from January 1, the rules related to online payment on Google will change. In such a situation, it is important for you to know the new rule. These changes are being made on the instructions of Reserve Bank of India (RBI). Let’s talk about this in detail.

Rules will change on these apps

Under the new change from January 1, 2022, the apps on which you will have to make online payments are as follows. Google Ads, YouTube, Google Play Store and some others.

These will be the new rules

1. Now complete details for payment

If you want to pay with Visa or MasterCard on any of the Google platforms mentioned above, then you will have to enter your Debit and Credit card details. Google will no longer store them. Now money will be taken under the tokenization system.

2. For Rupay and American Express

If you have RuPay, American Express, Discover or Diners Card and you want to pay through them, then in this case also you will have to refill all the card information one by one during online payment. Here also the option to save the card will not be available.

That’s why a new rule has to be brought

In fact, in order to prevent fraud from the card saved in the wallet or UPI app, RBI had asked such apps to work on the tokenization system by eliminating the option of saving the card. Almost all the apps have worked on this and the new rule will come into effect from January 1, 2022.
