Vande Bharat train: Train number 22549/50 Vande Bharat Express running from Gorakhpur to Prayagraj will run only till Lucknow from 27 January to 4 February. There will be crowds at the Maha Kumbh due to the bathing of Mauni Amavasya and Basant Panchami. For this reason, changes have been made in the running of trains. The train will remain cancelled between Lucknow and Prayagraj. The train will leave from Gorakhpur and terminate at Lucknow. Also, 12275 Prayagraj New Delhi Express will run till Subedarganj on 28, 30, 31 January and 2 and 4 February, 12276 New Delhi Prayagraj will run till Subedarganj on 27, 29, 31 January and 1 and 3 February.
Special train for devotees from Chennai
Railways will operate five Kashi Tamil Sangamam special trains for the devotees. 06193 Kashi Sangamam train will depart from Chennai Central on February 13 and will reach Chivki on February 15 at 2:40 am. From here it will go to Banaras. On return, it will take devotees from Prayagraj at 2 am on February 19 and reach Chennai Central at 11:45 pm on February 20. 06195 will depart from Kanyakumari on February 13. 06187 train will operate from Coimbatore on February 16 and February 22.
Sangam Passenger will run from Phaphamau from 27th
For the convenience of passengers, the railway has changed the departure station of many trains. Train number 54101 Prayagraj Sangam-Kanpur Anwarganj Passenger will run from its starting station on 27, 28, 29, 30 January at 4:20 pm from Phaphamau railway station instead of Prayagraj Sangam. 54102 Kanpur Anwarganj-Prayagraj Sangam Passenger will come to Phaphamau station on 27, 28, 29 and 30 January.
This decision has been taken in view of the large number of devotees coming to Maha Kumbh. Changes have been made in the timings and routes of trains so that there is no problem in the system due to crowd at the stations.
