The Chief Minister was talking to reporters after offering prayers to the gods and goddesses during the tribal festival at Medaram in Mulugu district of Telangana. CM Reddy said, ‘Out of the six election guarantees, we are going to launch two guarantees on the evening of February 27.’ He said supply of LPG cylinder at Rs 500 and free electricity up to 200 units to white ration card holders. The supply will start from 27th February.
He said that Priyanka Gandhi is also going to attend the program. The Chief Minister said that the state government has already implemented two promises, which include free travel for women in government RTC buses and a health scheme of Rs 10 lakh for the poor. Reddy said that out of the two lakh vacant jobs that were promised to be filled, the government has filled 25 thousand posts and appointment letters have been handed over at public functions.
The Chief Minister said that more than six thousand posts will be filled by March 2. The pending appointment of the Chairman of the Press Academy to deal with media related issues in the state will also be done immediately. He said, “The government will also soon give good news on farm loan waiver up to Rs 2 lakh.”
