What is Vishwakarma Yojana?
Through PM Vishwakarma Yojana, people having traditional skills like goldsmith, blacksmith, barber and cobbler will get many benefits. The government has included 18 traditional skill businesses in the scheme, which will help artisans and craftsmen from rural and urban areas across India. These include carpenters, boat makers, blacksmiths, lock makers, goldsmiths, potters who make earthen utensils and other items, sculptors, masons, fish net makers, toy makers, among others.
Loan of Rs 3 lakh in two steps

Help of Rs 15000
Under the PM Vishwakarma Scheme, training is also given through master trainers to further enhance the skills of people in the 18 trades decided. Along with this, a stipend of Rs 500 per day is given. At the same time, the beneficiaries are given PM Vishwakarma certificate and ID card, skill upgradation related to basic and advanced training, toolkit incentive of Rs 15,000, incentive for digital transactions.
Who can take advantage?
The applicant should be a citizen of India. Also, Vishwakarma should be related to one of the 18 trades decided. The age of the applicant should be more than 18 years and less than 50 years. Apart from this, there should be a certificate in the relevant trade. Should belong to one of the 140 castes included in the scheme.
