The central government has exempted this obligation in the new rules. The essentiality of Aadhaar number has also been removed in the messaging solution message (Sandes) and in the biometrics attendance system of government offices.
These rules have changed
Now according to this new rules, the essentiality of Aadhaar for life certificate has been removed. It has been changed from compulsory to voluntary. That is, if any pensioners want, they can give information about Aadhaar, or if they do not want it, they will not give it.
Due to this rule being voluntary, the major problem of pensioners has been resolved. Please tell that pensioners have to run for Life Certificate at the beginning of every year. This becomes even more difficult when the biometric information given in a pensioner’s Aadhaar card is not updated or any other technical problem arises. However, now they will get a lot of relief.
No need for Aadhaar for Sandes app
At the same time, Aadhar verification has been made voluntary by making it mandatory for the application Sandes to be made mandatory for attendance at the government office. Let us know that Sandes is an instant messaging solution app which is designed for the presence of employees in government offices. Now government employees have to make attendance only through Sandes.
What is the notification
The Ministry of Electronics and IT has issued a notification on 18 March. It states that the authenticity of Aadhaar for life proof will be on a voluntary basis and organizations using it should find alternative ways to give a life certificate. In this case, NIC will have to comply with Aadhar Law 2016, Aadhaar Regulation 2016 and Office Memorandum and circulars and guidelines issued by UIDAI from time to time.
