The central government is going to launch e-shram portal for the unorganized workers of the country. The government’s medicine is that through this, the benefits of all social security schemes will be easily accessible to all the unorganized workers of the country. Yadav on Tuesday released the logo of the e-shram portal, through which the government aims to register 38 crore workers in the unorganized sector. Apart from construction workers, this includes migrant workers, street vendors and domestic workers.
Toll free number will be issued
He said that after the launch of the portal, workers of the unorganized sector can register themselves from the same day. The Union Minister said that the portal would be launched on August 26 and a national toll free number 14434 would also be started to help the workers to register on the same day. Welfare schemes will reach the homes of workers
Bhupendra Yadav tweeted and said- “Just two days before the launch of e-Shram Portal, unveiled its logo. As envisaged by PM Narendra Modi. The portal will be the national database of our nation builders, our Shram Yogis. The portal will help in taking welfare schemes to their doorsteps.”

For registration on the portal, workers will have to give complete information about their name, address, type of profession, educational qualification, skill, and family details etc.
