PF Balance Check: Today the Central Government has given great news to 6 crore employed people. If you also do a job, then from now on you will get the benefit of more interest on PF. The government has decided to pay interest at the rate of 8.15 per cent on deposits under the Employees’ Provident Fund Scheme for the financial year 2022-23. Now soon money is going to come into the account of the employed people, so before that you should check the balance of the account. You can check the balance of your PF account in many ways. Let us tell you how you can find out your balance.

According to an official order, the EPFO has asked its regional offices to deposit interest on EPF at the rate of 8.15 per cent for 2022-23 into the accounts of members. This order came after the consent of the Finance Ministry on the interest rate. Now the regional offices of EPFO will add interest to the customers’ account.
Check balance by SMS
Like missed call service, here all your important documents should be linked with UAN, only then you will be able to use this service. For this, you have to SMS EPFOHO UAN ENG (or instead of ENG, write the code of the language in which you want the message) to 7738299899.
Check balance from UMANG APP-
- Download the application from Play Store/App Store.
- Open UMANG app on your smartphone and select EPFO.
- Click on ‘Employee Centric Services’.
- Click on ‘View Passbook’ to check your EPF balance.
- Enter your UAN and click on Get OTP to send OTP to the mobile number registered with UAN.
- Enter OTP and click on ‘Login’.
- Select the member ID of the company for which you want to check EPF balance.
- Your passbook will be displayed on the screen along with your EPF balance.
Check balance from EPFO portal-
- Go to the official EPFO website- www.epfindia.gov.in.
- From the ‘Our Services’ tab, click on ‘For Employees’.
- Now, under ‘Services’ option click on ‘Member Passbook’ option.
- Login with your UAN and Password.
- After login you can access your EPF account.
- After this, you can see the amount deposited in the PF account by checking the passbook of the institution whose passbook you want to check.
