The group said that it has provided an insurance cover to Employees on an average of Rs 70 lakh in the event of death of any Indian employee due to corona virus. Not only this, the company has also stepped up efforts for relief measures to deal with the corona epidemic. Bosch said that after the death of a worker from Kovid-19, his family will also be provided with health insurance for three years. Bosch will also put an Oxygen plant in view of the current situation
Bosch said that during the second wave of corona virus epidemic, the group has also set up Covid Care Centers in Bengaluru and Pune to cater to the needs of oxygen supply and health facilities. On employee welfare, Bosch said that on the death of employees due to corona infection, an average insurance cover of Rs 70 lakh will be given to the employees. The auto parts manufacturer said that the insurance amount will be given to the legal heirs of the deceased employee. It was also clarified that this amount is in addition to Rs 7 lakhs under Employee Deposit Linked Insurance Scheme (EDLI). Apart from this, the group will also provide health insurance to their families for three years from the date of death on the death of their employees.
