AU Small Finance Bank has introduced its first green fixed deposit (Green FD), which has been named Planet First- AU Green Fixed Deposit. Fixed Deposit is designed to invest your money to support green projects including renewable and solar energy and electric mobility solutions. That is, it has been designed keeping in mind those investors who want to invest their money to support eco-friendly projects.

The Green Deposit Policy and Framework has been approved by the Board and externally reviewed by a third party as per the mandatory requirements. A minimum of Rs 5000 can be invested in The Planet First – Au Green Fixed Deposit and it gives interest up to 8.50 per cent per annum. In this, both existing and new customers of AU SFB can easily invest in Green FD through video banking, through AU 0101 app, through net banking or by visiting their nearest AU Small Finance Bank branches.

Customers can choose the tenure of this scheme that suits their financial goals. This scheme has the shortest tenure of 2 years and apart from this there are also long term investment options. Planet First – AU Green Fixed Deposit offers different interest payment options including monthly, quarterly and cumulative (on maturity) to help customers manage their cash flow effectively. Additionally, customers will also be given regular updates on the utilization of their funds and the progress of the green projects they will undertake through the Planet First – AU Green Fixed Deposit.
