GST Return Filing Deadline Extended: It is mandatory for the taxpayer to file GST Return. Its deadline is 10 April 2024. But on Wednesday, taxpayers are facing problems in filing GST. Actually, due to technical problems he was not able to file the return.
In such a situation, to provide relief to the taxpayer, GST Network (GSTN) posted on X. In this post he informed that the due date for filing returns for GSTR-1 has been extended till April 12.
GSTN has accordingly recommended to @cbic_india that the due date for filing of GSTR-1 for the monthly taxpayers be extended by a day ie till 12/4/24. (2/2)

GST Tech said GSTN has observed that taxpayers are facing difficulties in filing GSTR-1 intermittently since Wednesday due to technical issues, which has led to slow response on the portal.
In such a situation, GSTN has accordingly recommended to @CBIC_India that the due date for filing GSTR-1 for monthly taxpayers be extended by one day i.e. 12/4/24. This means that the taxpayer can file GST even today. Today is the last day to file GST.
