The actor’s screen name was also thought of to launch him as a hero in films. By becoming a hero, he would have gained popularity in the name of Neeraj. However, this did not happen and he became ‘Gabbar’ in ‘Sholay’. Please tell, ‘Sholay’ was not Amjad Khan’s debut film. He made his debut as a child artist in the 1951 film ‘Nazneen’.
