Haryana Government Pension Hike: In Haryana, the government has increased all social pensions and allowances including old age and widow allowance. This increase will be effective from the month of April. The proposal to increase the pension, allowances and financial assistance payable under various social security schemes in Haryana from April 1 was approved in the cabinet meeting today.
Now the old age honor allowance, widow and destitute women pension, disabled pension, dear social security allowance, midget allowance and eunuch allowance have been increased from Rs 2250 to Rs 2,500 per month in the state. Destitute children will be given Rs 1600 per month instead of Rs 1350 and children with disabilities who do not go to school will be given Rs 1950 per month instead of 1650.
GST will be reimbursed on items used in the treatment of corona patients
In the cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Manohar Lal on Tuesday, it has also been decided to give reimbursement of GST (State, Central and IGST) on items used in the treatment of corona patients. This scheme will remain in force till June 30. Donors will be encouraged by the reimbursement of GST on COVID related items. However, GST will be reimbursed only if the COVID related materials are donated free of cost to government hospitals or hospitals and institutions authorized by the Department of Health and Family Welfare.
Destitute children will be given Rs 1600 every month instead of Rs 1350
In the second wave of corona, the state had to face a severe shortage of liquid medical oxygen and other health equipment like ventilators, medicines etc. A large number of corporates, non-governmental organizations (NGOs) and people belonging to different sections are coming forward to donate such items to augment the health infrastructure and equipment.

- Old Age Samman Pension – 2250 to 2500 rupees.
- Widow and destitute women pension – 2250 to 2500 rupees.
- Disabled Pension – 2500 rupees.
- Ladli Social Security Allowance – Increased from Rs 2250 to Rs 2500.
- Dwarf Allowance and Transgender Allowance – 2500 rupees will be available.
