Har-Hith Stores in Haryana: Haryana is one of the major agricultural states of India. During the last few years, various schemes are being worked on in the state to double the income of the farmers. Under this, Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar inaugurated ‘Har-Hith Stores’ simultaneously at 71 places in the state on Sunday from Gurugram.
Through these stores, where youth are getting employment opportunities on one hand, on the other hand people will get pure, certified and quality goods at affordable rates near their homes. According to the information, one such store will be opened for three thousand population in rural area and 10 thousand population in urban area.

How will farmers benefit?

Apart from all this, Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khatt encouraged the farmers to take up animal husbandry, fisheries and cultivation of cash crops instead of traditional crops to increase their income. Along with this, he also informed about changing the standard of living below poverty line (BPL) families. Now the family whose annual income from all sources is up to Rs 1.80 lakh, will come under the BPL, whereas earlier the income limit was Rs 1.20 lakh per annum.
