The HCL company has given 30 per cent of its CTC based on skill for the purpose of giving talented people a chance. Apart from this, the company has set a target of making about 20 thousand new recruits this year.

For the purpose of promoting talented people, HCL Technologies (HCL) has prepared a special plan. Under which a special allowance has been added to the CTC (Cost-to-Company) of about 16,000 employees. In this, 25-30% of their CTC is based on their skills. Under this, special allowance is being given to them. According to the company management, they have been working on this plan for the last three years. They will continue to do it in the future also.

Regarding this, the company’s Chief HR Apparao VV said, “These are skill based jobs where customers pay a premium to get the facility and we give it to the employees. The addition of this allowance has seen a steady increase in the number of eligible people. We are constantly trying to increase it. ”

He also told that HCL has identified people with about 25-30 excellent skills. “Based on 18 months of data, we have prepared a plan to certify and train these people so that we can meet a large part of the demand internally. If 100 posts are required in the company, then we can complete 55 posts internally. ”

20 thousand new recruits will do

HCL has set a target of making 20 thousand new recruits in the year 2021. Campus graduates are being appointed for this. Whereas in the last financial year, it was around 14 and a half thousand. Apparao said, “We have a demand of 17,000 people from various businesses and this year we are targeting 20,000 new recruits. Due to the change in business mix due to visa policies, we have increased the number of people and made recruitment on a large scale. As on 31 March, HCL had a staff strength of 1,68,977. Last year, 18,554 people attended.
