HCLTech company will implement a new policy regarding the leave of employees, now they will have to work for so many days

HCLTech moved to a hybrid work model earlier this year and asked employees to come to the office three days a week.

India’s third largest software export company HCLTech is bringing a new policy to link the leaves of employees to their office attendance. The aim of this initiative is to encourage employees to work from the office at least three days a week.

Leave will be deducted if not coming to office

This step has been taken when companies aim to bring employees back to the office after the Kovid epidemic. Employees at HCLTech will have to come to the office and work at least three days a week and at least 12 days a month. According to a report by Moneycontrol citing insiders, if the employees do not do so, their leave will be deducted for every day they miss.

Hybrid work model was adopted this year

HCLTech moved to a hybrid work model earlier this year and asked employees to work from the office three days a week. An employee of the company told Moneycontrol that HR has started informing some teams about this update through email from this week. Once our holidays are over, it may also lead to loss of our salary.

How many holidays do HCLTech employees have?

Currently, HCLTech employees who have been with the office for less than three years are given 18 annual leaves and one personal leave. Employees who have been with the company for more than three years get around 20 annual leaves and two personal leaves.
