There is big news for the customers of ICICI Bank and HDFC Bank. Crores of customers of HDFC and ICICI Bank will not be able to use the bank’s service for two days. The bank has already informed all its customers about this. Some services of HDFC Bank will not be available on 14th and 15th December. Apart from this, ICICI Bank will do pre-scheduled maintenance work in the bank from 11:55 pm on 14 December 2024 to 6:00 am on 15 December 2024. During this time, different services of both the banks will be affected. Net banking, RTGS i.e. Real Time Gross Settlement Service of banks will not be available for some time.
These services of HDFC Bank will not be available
HDFC Bank told its customers that some services will be temporarily unavailable during maintenance for better banking experience. Bank’s service will not be available in these two days.

ICICI Bank service will not be available
ICICI Bank informed its customers through email that RTGS transactions will be temporarily unavailable on their banking platform.
Date: 14 December 2024
Time: 11:55 pm to 6 am on 15 December.
These services will not be available: Inward and outward RTGS transactions, which will remain pending during maintenance and will be processed after 6 am.
Optional service: Customers can use NEFT, IMPS, or UPI services through iMobile or Internet Banking during this period.
What is RTGS?
RTGS is a method of electronic fund transfer, which provides real-time and instant settlement of large payments between bank accounts.
What are the RTGS charges of the bank
There will be no charge on RTGS transactions done through online medium Internet Banking, iMobile Pay, Pockets app.
₹20 + GST will be charged for RTGS transactions from ₹2 lakh to ₹5 lakh at the bank branch.
₹45 + GST will be charged for transactions from ₹5 lakh to ₹10 lakh. Customers are advised to complete their required RTGS transactions before this deadline.
