On 1 and 2 April, Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, Chhattisgarh, Gujarat state and Rayalaseema may experience rain accompanied by thunder and strong winds at a speed of 30 to 60 kmph. From 31 March to 2 April, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Karaikal, Kerala, Mahe, Karnataka, coastal Andhra Pradesh and Yanam may also receive rain accompanied by strong winds (Weather update latest news).
Strong surface winds may blow at some places in North-West India on 29 March. The speed of the winds can range from 30 kmph to 40 kmph.
