According to the information received from Lucknow IMD, on September 14, an orange alert was issued in Bijnor, Moradabad, Rampur, Jyotiba Phule Nagar, Bareilly and Pilibhit districts of the state. During this time, there is a possibility of heavy rain with thunder and lightning. Apart from this, a yellow alert for rain was issued in many districts. During this time, rain alert was issued in many districts including Saharanpur, Baghpat, Shamli, Meerut, Muzaffarnagar, Ghaziabad, Hapur, Bulandshahar, Aligarh, Gautam Buddha Nagar, Badaun, Etah, Mahamayanagar, Hardoi.
According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of rain in western Uttar Pradesh. While the weather is going to be clear in eastern Uttar Pradesh. Along with this, the weather will remain clear in the state for the next 3 to 4 days. According to meteorologists, now the last phase of monsoon rain is going on. After this, the rain will stop by the end of September.
Rain was recorded in many areas of Uttar Pradesh on Friday. During this period, the maximum rainfall of 23.4 mm was recorded in Lakhimpur Kheri. Bareilly recorded 11.6 mm, Najibabad 16 mm, Muzaffarnagar 22.8 mm, Etawah 14.6 mm, Moradabad 15.2 mm. Aligarh recorded 9.2 mm, Agra 3.8 mm, Shahjahanpur 2.2 mm, Meerut 3.4 mm, Fatehgarh 5 mm and Varanasi BHU recorded 0.2 mm of rain.
