High Security Plate Registration Deadline: ⚠ Deadline for the installation of high security registration plate extended, now it will be deadline

The Uttar Pradesh government (UP Govt) has made the last date for imposing HSRP on vehicles, 30 November. Earlier, the last date for getting HSRP was 19 October. Due to which the vehicle owner was getting very upset.




New Delhi. The Government of Uttar Pradesh (UP Govt) has extended the last date for the imposition of High Security Registration Plate (HSRP), giving relief to the vehicle owners. Now vehicle owners can get HSRP installed by November 30. Earlier, the last date for imposing HSRP in Uttar Pradesh was 19 October. Due to which the vehicle owners were getting very upset. But this decision of the government has brought a lot of relief from commercial vehicle owners to private vehicle owners.

Actually, the administration was continuously receiving complaints about online booking of HSRP. As such, the names of those vehicle companies have not been given on the portal, which are now closed in India. In such a situation, the state government decided to extend the last date for imposing HSRP.

How HSRP will be charged in a discontinued company vehicle

Many car companies like Mitsubisi, Daewoo Maties and Chevrolet have been shut down in the country. People who bought the cars of these car companies. All of them are now worrying about getting a high security registration plate. In such a situation, no one is able to answer these car owners’ questions properly.

Name of companies not coming on website

The names of the car companies which have been closed in the country are not coming on the website. In such a situation, the vehicle owners are unable to apply for HSRP. Some people have filed complaints in RTO as well. But in this case, only one answer is being given by the authorities that arrangements will be made soon.

Cost to get HSRP




The cost of installing a high security registration plate is different on vehicles. For example, on a car, you can get an HSRP between 600 and 1000 rupees. At the same time, on two wheeler vehicles, its price ranges from 300 to 400 rupees.

Home delivery of HSRP may be started soon in Delhi

Transport Minister of Delhi Government Kailash Gehlot has talked to the traffic commissioner to start home delivery from the number plate companies. After which home delivery of HSRP in Delhi can start soon.

Home delivery and fitting of high security registration plates (HSRP) and colour-coded stickers began in New Delhi this week, days after the Delhi government resumed the online booking of the same. The work of installation of HSRP was put at a halt due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Keeping the current scenario in mind, the government has also increased number of centres that will install these HSRP from 150 to 658, reports suggested.

The home delivery services of the above mentioned can be availed with an additional charge of Rs 100-Rs 200.

Process to book high security number plate in delhi:

Vehicle owners can book a slot for the fitting of HSRP and fuel stickers via www.siam.in. It will redirect them to the respective HSRP manufacturer’s website.

Once the booking is done, vehicle owners will receive a real time update of each step of the procession via SMS. Once compelled, they will be notified two days before the date of delivery.

Last month, state transport minister Kailash Gahlot has halted the online bookings after the department received several complaints about delay in providing HSRP and fuel strikers.

The government restarted the process on November 1, along with the home delivery facility to the vehicle owners.
