Highest Interest Rate: Interest rates on fixed deposits have become more attractive after the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) hiked interest rates. As part of this, many banks offer the highest interest rates on fixed deposits.
New FD Rates: IndusInd Bank, one of the leading private sector banks in the country, has invested Rs. It has announced that interest rates on fixed deposits of value below Rs 2 crore will be increased by up to 35 basis points. The increased interest rates will be effective from June 2, 2023, the bank said. At present, the bank offers an interest rate of 3.5 percent to 7.75 percent to regular customers on deposits with tenure of 7 days to 10 years.
The same offers interest rates ranging from 4 percent to 8.25 percent to senior citizens. General customers will get the highest interest rate of 7.75 per cent on fixed deposits with a tenure of one to two years, while senior citizens will get 8.25 per cent. The bank offers an additional interest rate of 50 basis points to senior citizens as compared to regular customers.
