Yellow alert for rain and snowfall has been issued in eight central and high mountain districts of Lahaul-Spiti, Kinnaur, Shimla, Solan, Sirmaur, Mandi, Kullu and Chamba on April 3 and 4. The weather is expected to remain clear in the plain districts till April 4.
The weather remained clear in most areas of Himachal Pradesh on Monday. There is a possibility of sunshine on Tuesday also. Yellow alert for rain and snowfall has been issued in eight central and high mountain districts of Lahaul-Spiti, Kinnaur, Shimla, Solan, Sirmaur, Mandi, Kullu and Chamba on April 3 and 4. The weather is expected to remain clear in the plain districts of Una, Bilaspur, Hamirpur and Kangra till April 4. There is a possibility of rain and snowfall in the entire state on April 5 and 6. Due to active Western Disturbance, there are chances of change in the weather of the state. It is forecast that the entire state will be sunny from April 7.
The weather has again become cold due to snowfall in the hilly areas of the state. The minimum temperature of Keylong and Kukumseri has again reached minus. On Sunday night, the minimum temperature was minus 3.4 in Keylong, minus 1.9 in Kukumseri, 1.4 in Kalpa, 4.5 in Reckong Peo, 4.9 in Narkanda, 8.2 in Solan, 9.3 in Mandi, 9.8 in Shimla, 12.0 in Dharamshala-Una, 12.6 in Kangra, Bilaspur. 12.9 degree Celsius was recorded in Nahan and 15.9 degree Celsius was recorded in Nahan.
On Monday morning, there was cloud cover in some other hilly areas including the capital Shimla. It was sunny here in the afternoon. The weather remained clear throughout the day in the plain districts. Meteorological Center Shimla has predicted a change in the weather due to the activation of Western Disturbance on the night of April 2 and April 5. During this period, there is a possibility of decrease in temperature also.
