Which banks will remain closed on Holi?

Banks in most states of the country will remain closed on March 25 on the occasion of Holi. At the same time, in some states, there is Holi holiday on 26th and 27th March.

25 March: Holi (2nd day) – On the occasion of Dhuleti/Dol Jatra/Dhulandi in Tripura, Gujarat, Mizoram, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Jammu, Sikkim, Arunachal Pradesh, Rajasthan, Chandigarh, Uttarakhand, Andhra Pradesh, Bengal, Telangana, Banks will remain closed in Meghalaya, Uttar Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, Himachal Pradesh.

March 26: Yaosang (second day)/Holi – There will be a holiday in banks in Orissa, Manipur and Bihar.

March 27: Banks will remain closed across Bihar on the occasion of Holi.

Apart from Holi, on the occasion of Good Friday on March 29, Gujarat, Chhattisgarh, Mizoram, Bengaluru, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Chandigarh, Tamil Nadu, Uttarakhand, Sikkim, Telangana, Manipur, Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Kerala, Nagaland, Kolkata, Lucknow. There will be a holiday for banks in Maharashtra, Delhi, Panaji, Bihar, Raipur, Jharkhand and Kerala.

Banks will open on 31st March

According to the order of RBI, being the last day of the financial year, all agency banks will remain open on March 31 (Sunday), so that financial operations can be completed easily.
