Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar on Saturday announced an increase of Rs 1000 in the monthly honorarium of the sanitation workers of the state. In such a situation, the monthly honorarium of sanitation workers has increased from Rs 16000 to Rs 17000. The monthly honorarium of rural sanitation workers has been increased from Rs 14000 to Rs 15000.
Increase in honorarium by Rs 1000
Along with this, the Chief Minister has also announced an annual allowance of Rs 1000 and Rs 2000 for the equipment used for sanitation work. Lakhs of employees will benefit from this. Orders for this will be issued soon after the CM’s announcement. Along with this, employees can be given the benefit of increased monthly honorarium from the months of November and December. Along with this, they will also be given the benefit of other allowances.
Four percent increase in dearness allowance
Earlier, the Haryana government had announced a four percent increase in dearness allowance for its state employees and pensioners. Following the announcement of the Central Government, the employees will be given the benefit of dearness allowance and dearness relief at the rate of 46% on the basic salary. With the issuance of the order in this regard, three months’ arrear amount will also be paid to the employees. Apart from this, increase in pension has also been announced by the Haryana Government.
