The honorarium of employees will be increased by Rs 2100. This has been announced by the Chief Minister. Besides, they will also be given other benefits.

Asha Honorarium Hike: Amidst Dussehra, the demands of Asha workers have also been fulfilled. His honorarium will be increased by Rs 2100. With this, his monthly honorarium will increase to Rs 6100. Not only this, an amount of Rs 2 lakh will also be provided to him on retirement. This has been assured by the Chief Minister. Instructions have also been given to the officer.

In fact, Asha workers in Haryana were demanding increase in honorarium for a long time. For this, demonstrations were also being held across the state. Finally, Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar has announced an increase in the honorarium of Asha workers by Rs 2100. With this, his honorarium will increase to Rs 6100 per month. He will also be given a benefit of ₹200000 on retirement. Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar made this announcement during a conversation with Haryana Asha Workers officials.

A proposal to increase the incentive amount by Rs 1500 will be sent to the Central Government.

CM said that a letter will be written to the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare of the Government of India for increase in the incentive amount of Asha workers. Along with this, many important demands have been considered in this meeting. A proposal to increase the incentive amount by Rs 1,500 will be sent to the Central Government. Also, ASHA workers will be included in the Viva Yojana. Compensation will be provided to the dependents of ASHA workers of Yamunanagar. Besides, it has also been decided to release fixed honorarium during the strike.

ASHA workers have been protesting for increase in recognition for 73 days. The union delegation is led by President Surekha and General Secretary Sunita. The meeting lasted for more than an hour. In which all the demands were discussed. On the other hand, Surekha, State President of Asha Worker Union, says that the increase in honorarium is still less and is much less as per inflation. The ASHA worker is not satisfied with this. Despite this the strike is being called off. Haryana workers will also participate enthusiastically in the national rally of Asha workers in Delhi on 30th October.
